"Please keep me in your prayers--I have a lot of responsibility in my work and personal life and am a bit tired from the load at the moment. I also have some major decisions to make in the near future--they will impact the rest of my life for years to come (eg. ensuring care for my elderly Mom for one). I have very little family support (largely because of the Faith and the fact I have a strong backbone), and have chosen God over human respect on more than one occasion. Most people aren't aware of the crosses I have endured--they always tell me how sweet and happy I am--and I should not complain that I was blessed with a lot of strength in many areas. But I am tired, and I keep many things to myself because I am so busy caring for others. (And most people look to me to lean on...) It would also take an incredibly strong man to handle me--so far, I am discouraged to say that I have not found one--they do not understand the heart of a woman, and I am embarrassed to say that some don't deserve to. (I am just getting over a visit from someone that travelled 3 000 miles to meet me and left me speechless with disbelief at the lack of even basic Catholicism--it was after that that I decided I would stay here and give up the idea of marriage and focus on finishing my education to ensure a better future for myself and my Mom, and to care for my Mom until God calls her home). Any prayers are appreciated! Thank-you in Our Lady, Teresa P.S. I have endured great tragedies and crosses to get to this point, and am always there for others--it would be nice to have a bit of support myself. "
